A walk-in-interview will be held at 3.00 p.m. on 19/02/2018 in the Department of Physics, Tezpur University for one (01) temporary position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Project Assistant (PA) for DST-Nano mission, Gove of India sponsored project entitled Miniaturized flexible planar antennas for body worn applications as health monitoring systems in L and S band using nano magneto-dielectric composite as substrate under the Principal Investigator Prof. Nidhi S. Bhattacharyya, Department of Physics, Tezpur University, Tezpur, Napaam -784028, Assam.

Educational Qualification: Consistently good academic career with a first class M.Sc. in Physics from a recognized University. Master Degree in Physics with specialization in Electronics will be preferable.

Desirable: Sufficient knowledge in microwave or should have studied microwave in his/her academic career.

Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/-(Rupees twenty five thousand) only + 10% HRA as admissible per month for the 1^st two years and Rs. 28,000/-(Rupees twenty eight thousand) only plus 10% HRA as admissible per month for the 3^rd year for SRF and applicable to the candidate having M.Sc. degree in Physics from a recognized University with NET/GATE qualification or post graduate degree in professional course. Non-NET/GATE candidate having M.Sc. degree in Physics will receive Rs. 14,000/-(Rupees fourteen thousand) only plus 10% HRA as admissible per month for the 1^st two years and Rs. 16,000/-(Rupees sixteen thousand) only plus 10% HRA as admissible per month for the 3^rd year as Project Assistant. HRA will not be provided if campus accommodation is availed.

Duration: Three (03) years or till completion of the project or until further order, whichever is earlier.

Age Limit: Candidate shall not be more than 28 years of age on the date of interview. Upper age limit may be relaxed as per Government of India rules.

Interested candidates may appear before the interview board with original and self-attested photocopies of mark sheets, certificates from 10^th standard onwards, testimonials, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate (if any), certificates of NET/GATE and a copy of recent signed Curriculum Vitae (CV) on the day of interview. N.B. (1) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

(2) Those in employment or doing Ph.D. must submit No Objection Certificate from the

concerned employer / Ph.D. Supervisor.
