Applications are invited for one (01) temporary position of Project Fellow in a UGC-DAE CSR-Mumbai (An autonomous UGC centre) sponsored project entitled Study of interactions of Ionic Liquid ions with unsaturated metal centers in Metal Organic Framework based polymer electrolyte nanocomposites incorporated with Ionic Liquids through Neutron Scattering and Raman Spectroscopy under the Principal Investigator Professor A. Kumar, Department of Physics, Tezpur University.

Qualification: M.Sc. in Physics/Nanoscience and Technology/Materials Science with 55% marks or equivalent grade; however, NET/GATE/JEST qualified and first division holder candidate will get preference.

Specialization: Condensed Matter Physics/Materials Science/Nanoscience and Technology.

Fellowship: For NET/GATE/JEST qualified candidates: ` 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty five Thousand) only + HRA as admissible per month for the first two years and ` 28,000/- (Rupees Twenty eight Thousand) only + HRA as admissible per month for the third year. For Non-NET/non-GATE/non-JEST candidates: ` 14,000/- (Rupees Fourteen Thousand) only + HRA as admissible per month for the first two years and ` 16,000/- (Rupees sixteen Thousand) only + HRA as admissible per month for the third year.

Age limit: Candidate shall not be more than 28 years of age on the stipulated last date of receiving applications as mentioned in this advertisement. Upper age limit may be relaxed as per Government of India rules.

Duration: One year, likely to be extended up to three years subjected to satisfactory progress.

Interested candidates may send their detailed curriculum vitae (CV) with recent passport size photograph alongwith self-attested photocopies of mark sheets, certificates from 10th standard onwards, testimonials, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate (if any), certificates of NET/GATE/JEST, any other testimonials to Prof. Ashok Kumar, Principal Investigator, Department of Physics, Tezpur University, Napaam, Tezpur 784028, Assam on or before Feb. 09, 2018. Only short-listed candidates will be called for personal interview.

N.B. (1) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview, if called for.

(2) Those in employment or doing Ph.D. must submit No Objection Certificate from the concerned employer / Ph.D. Supervisor.
