Walk-in-interview

A Walk-in-Interview will be held on 17/11/2017 at 9.30 A.M in the Department of Mass Communication & Journalism for selection of one (01) Research Assistant on a temporary basis (For One Year) for ICSSR sponsored project, A Study on the Acculturation Process of the Missing Tribe of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh conducted by Dr. Uttam Kr Pegu (Principal Investigator). The project entails extensive field visits in selected villages of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.

Qualification: Candidate must possess MA or PG Diploma in any discipline of Humanities and Social Sciences from recognized University/Institute with 55% mark with relaxation as per Govt. of India rules.

Desirable: Computer Knowledge and experience in field research.

Fellowship: 13,000/- (Rupees Thirteen Thousand) only per month (consolidated).

Age limit: Candidate shall not be more than 28 years of age on the date of interview. Upper age limit may be relaxed as per Government of India rules.

Duration: Till May 24, 2019 or till the completion of the project or until further order, whichever is earlier.

Interested candidates may appear before the interview board with original and self-attested photocopies of Mark sheets, Certificates & Testimonials from 10th standard onward, Caste certificate (if applicable), Experience certificate (if any) and Curriculum Vitae (CV) on the day of interview.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
