Walk-in-interview

Applications are invited for a Walk-in-Interview of One (01) temporary position of Junior Research Fellow in a DST sponsored Indo-UK International collaborative research project entitled India-UK Centre for education and research in clean energy (IUCERCE) under the Principal Investigator Dr. Nabin Sarmah, Assistant Professor, Department of Energy, Tezpur University.

Qualification: M. Tech in Energy Technology/Engineering/Science & Engineering with Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical/Instrumentation engineering background or M. Tech in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or M. Sc. in Electronics with NET qualification.

Desirable: Candidate having experience in photovoltaic system design, characterisation and performance analysis will be preferred. Candidate with experience in using CAD/LabView is desirable.

Duration: The project duration is for four (04) years; however, the appointment will be initially for a period of one (01) year, which may be extended further depending upon satisfactory performance of the incumbent and co-terminus with the project.

Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/- only per month for the first two years as JRF and Rs. 28,000/-only per month for the third and fourth years as SRF.

Age: Candidate should not be more than 28 years of age as on the date of interview. Upper age limit may be relaxed as per the Government of India Rules.

Date and Venue of Interview: 10 November, 2017 (Friday) at 10.30AM in the Department of Energy, Tezpur University, Napaam, Assam
