Walk-in-interview

Applications are invited for a Walk-in-Interview of One (01) temporary position of Junior Research Fellow in a DST sponsored Indo-Hungary International Collaborative research project entitled Biochemicals And Biofuels From Lignocellulosic Biomass By Green Catalytic Processes under Principal Investigator Dr. D. Deka, Professor, Department of Energy, Tezpur University.

Qualification: Master degree in Energy Technology with chemistry/chemical engineering background / Master degree in Chemical Engineering/ Post graduate in Chemical Science/Chemistry with NET qualification.

Desirable: Candidate having experience in catalyst preparation and characterization, biofuel production via catalytic transformation of biomass will be preferred.

Duration: The appointment will be initially for a period of one (01) year, which may be extended further depending upon satisfactory performance of the incumbent and co-terminus with the project.

Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/-only + 10% HRA as admissible per month for the first two years as JRF and Rs. 28,000/-only + 10% HRA as admissible per month for the third year as SRF.

Age: Candidate should not be more than 28 years of age as on the date of interview. Upper age limit may be relaxed as per the Government of India Rules.

Date and Venue of Interview: 27 July, 2017 (Thursday) at 10.30AM in the Department of Energy, Tezpur University, Nappam, Assam
