A walk-in-interview will be held at 10.30 A.M on 26th July, 2017 (Wednesday) at the office of the Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Tezpur University for temporary positions of one (01) Post-Doctoral Fellow (PDF), three (03) Senior Research Fellow (SRF), two (02) Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and one (01) Technical Assistant (TA) in the MHRD funded project under FAST entitled Machine Learning Research and Big Data Analytics (MLRBDA) under Dr. Dhruba Kumar Bhattacharyya, Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Tezpur University.

Position : Post-Doctoral Fellow (PDF)

Essential qualification : PhD in Computer Science or allied subjects having research experience in the relevant field of research.

Remuneration : Rs. 35,000/- (Rupees Thirty five thousand) per month.

Duration : Two (02) years or till completion of the project or until further order, whichever is earlier.

Age : Candidate should not be more than 35 years of age on the date of interview. The upper age limit may be relaxed as per the Government of India Rules.

Position : Senior Research Fellows (SRFs) in the field of (i) Natural Language Processing/Speech Processing, (ii) Cognitive Radio Networks/Networks, (iii) Bioinformatics, (iv) Network Security

Qualification : First class in ME/M. Tech. in CSE/IT/ECE

OR

First class in B. Tech. in CSE / IT or MCA having 2 years or more experience as JRF in relevant fields of research with valid GATE / NET score.

Remuneration : Rs. 18,000/- (Rupees Eighteen Thousand) per month.

Duration : Two (02) years or till completion of the project or until further order, whichever is earlier.

Age : Candidate should not be more than 32 years of age on the date of interview. The upper age limit may be relaxed as per the Government of India Rules.

Position : Junior Research Fellows (JRFs) in the field of (i) Cognitive Radio Networks/Networks, (ii) Bioinformatics/Network Security

Qualification : First class in B. Tech. in CSE /IT/ECE or MCA. Candidates with M. Tech. in CSE / IT / ECE shall be preferred.

Remuneration : Rs. 12,000/- (Rupees twelve thousand) per month

Age : Candidate should not be more than 28 years of age on the date of interview. The upper age limit may be relaxed as per the Government of India Rules.

Position : Technical Assistant (TA)

Qualification : 3 years Diploma in CSE / ECE or B. Sc. With DOEACC A level in Hardware

Remuneration : Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) per month

Duration : Two (02) years or till completion of the project or until further order, whichever is earlier

Age : Candidate should not be more than 28 years of age on the date of interview. The upper age limit may be relaxed as per the Government of India Rules.

N.B : No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.

Interested candidates may appear before the interview board with original documents from 10th standard onwards and photocopies of mark sheets, certificates, testimonials, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate, certificates of NET/GATE/BET or similar examination qualifications, any other testimonials and a copy of recent curriculum vitae (CV) on the day of interview.
