A Walk-in-Interview will be held on 17th August, 2017 at 12.00 pm. in the Department of Chemical Sciences, Tezpur University, Napaam for selection of 01 (one) temporary position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India funded research project entitled Synthesis, characterization and investigation of physicochemical properties of specific ionic liquids (IL) based systems for evaluation of electrochemical and photocatalytic activities under Dr. Ruli Borah, Principal Investigator, Department of Chemical Sciences, Tezpur University, Tezpur, Napaam 784028, Assam.

Duration: Three years or till completion of the project or until further order, whichever is earlier.

Qualifications: First class M.Sc./integrated M.Sc. degree in Chemistry/Chemical Sciences with valid GATE/NET Qualification.

Fellowship: @ Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) only plus HRA as admissible per month for the first two years and @ Rs. 28,000/- (Rupees twenty eight thousand) only plus HRA as admissible per month for the third year (SRF).

Age Limit: Candidate should not be more than 28 years of age on the date of interview. Upper age limit may be relaxed as per Government of India rules.

Interested candidates may appear before the interview board with original and self-attested photocopies of mark sheets, certificates from 10th standard onwards, testimonials, caste certificate (if applicable), certificates of NET/GATE or similar examination qualifications and a copy of recent signed Curriculum Vitae (CV) on the day of interview. They may also send their bio-data to Principal Investigator through e-mail (ruli@tezu.ernet.in ) within 15th August, 2017.

No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
