Applications in prescribed format (enclosed) are invited for one (01) temporary position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a CSIR sponsored research project entitled, DEVELOPMENT OF WATER-BORNE HYPERBRANCHED POLYESTERS AND POLYURETHANES FROM BIO-BASED RESOURCES AND THEIR NANOCOMPOSITES under Professor Niranjan Karak, Department of Chemical Sciences, Tezpur University, Tezpur, Napaam784028, Assam.

Qualification: MSc in Physical/Chemical/Life Sciences with NET (CSIR-UGC national eligibility test including LS)/Graduate aptitude test in engineering (GATE) qualified candidate.

Desirable: The knowledge in polymer and nanomaterials will be preferred.

Fellowship: Rs. 12,000/- (Rupees twelve thousand) only per month plus HRA as admissible for 1st, 2nd year and Rs. 14,000/- (Rupees fourteen thousand) only per month plus HRA as admissible for 3rd year. The terms and conditions are as per the CSIR, New Delhi.

Age limit: Candidate shall not be more than 28 year of age on the last date of receipt of application. The upper age limit may be relaxed as per the Govt. of India rules.

Duration: 3 years or till completion of the project until further order, whichever is earlier.
