Roles & Responsibilities

The incumbent will be responsible for mapping the ecosystem for Venture Lab and produce / update corresponding details on a data bank for list of Investors, Social Enterprises, Support Organizations, and various Government Schemes etc. Liaison with various Industries, Research Institutions, Financial Institutions, Angel Investors, Universities, Government bodies (like DST, NABARD, MSME) etc., for seed funding. Forge strong links with various industry organizations, universities, start-ups, investors, consultants and alumni network to provide domain specific mentorship for students and to further develop and strengthen the requisite ecosystem of entrepreneurship. He/She should provide state-of-the-art start-up programs to all Venture Lab students to reduce risk of failure, and resources to help build start-ups and relevant experience and skills. Responsible for obtaining entrepreneurial / research opportunities, on and off campus, for students / faculty using a variety of web-based options and social media.

Experience

The ideal candidate should have prior experience of about 10 15 years of the incubation process from scouting to raising seed/angel funding. Though not necessary he should be an experienced entrepreneur who is passionate about entrepreneurship and should have a proven track record in conceptualizing, executing and growing a business. He/She should have an extensive network in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Qualifications

A Graduate / Post Graduate degree (any discipline)

Compensation:

Compensation will not be a constraining factor and will be the best in the sector.
