1. Sponser of the project : Chairman,GATE-JAM, IIT Roorkee

2. Position and number : Project Assistant (Admin)- One No.

3. Qualilication : Graduation

4. Emoluments : Rs. 15,000/- to Rs. 30,000/- + HRA

5. Duration : Upto 30-04-2018
   

7 . Job description : Administrative Work

1. Desirable Experience:

   1. Experience of conducting online examination at reputed Institute/University.

   2. Maintaining System Management, Webservices & Mail server

   3. Knowledge of office procedures, rules & regulations generally operative in Govt. office or in Educational Institutions including experience in handling work in connection with meetings and conferences. Working knowledge of computer i.e. MS Word. Excel and Power Point Presemation and MS Access etc.

   4. Al least 12 years work experience in the actual conduct of examination, meetings and / or adequate experience of supervisory work as Jr. Superintendent level in a Govt. office or in educational Institution or in business organization of repute.

Note:

I . Candidates before appearing for the interview shall ensure that they are eligible for the position they intend to apply.

1. Candidates desiring to appear for the Walk in Interview should submit their applications with the following documents to the office of'Chairman. GATE-JAM at the time of interview:

   • Application in a plain paper with detailed CV including chronological discipline of degree/certifiicates obtained.

   • Experience including research, industrial field and others.

   • Attested copies of degree/certificate and experience certificate.

   • A demand draft of Rs. 250/- in favour of Chairman, GATE. IIT Roorkee payable at Roorkee

Candidate shall bring along with them the original degree(s)/certificate(s) and experience certificatc(s)at the time of Interview for verification.

Preference will begiven to SC/ST candidates on equal qualifications and experience. Please note that no TA/ DA is admissible for attending the interview.
