Requirement of Guest faculty for M.A. 2nd and 4th Semester session 2017-2018 .

Walk in Interview for the appointment of Guest Faculty of Centre for Human Rights & Duties, University, Chandigarh will be held on 22.1.2018 (Monday) at 11.30 a.m. in the office of the Coordinator, Centre for Human Rights & Duties, First Floor, Emerging Areas Building, Panjab University, Chandigarh.

Essential Qualifications:

(i) Good academic record with at least 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/Physically & Visually handicapped candidates)or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed at the Masters degree level in the relevant subject or allied discipline from an Indian University.

(ii) The candidate should have either cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC preferably in Human Rights OR should have obtained Ph. D. Degree in the relevant disciplines of Social Science determined on the basis of requirement of the papers to be taught at the Centre ( Sociology, Political Science, Gandhian Studies and Women Studies)..

Desirable Qualifications:

The candidate should have experience in teaching Postgraduate classes in human rights.

Honorarium: @ Rs. 1000/- per lecture up to maximum of Rs. 25000/- per month.

Candidates are advised to report on 22.1.2018 at 10.00 a.m. to mark their attendance and for scrutiny of their testimonials.

Note: Candidates must bring their original documents along with photocopies of the same for verification at the time of interview.

No individual intimation will be sent. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
