Advertisement for the appointment of Junior Research Fellow

Applications are invited for one position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the DST-SERB sponsored research project entitled Enhancement of the immunogenicity and protective efficacy of lipopeptide vaccine against Mycobacterium tuberculosis using peptidomimetics and conjugation with isoniazid sanctioned to the undersigned. Interested candidates may submit their application (on plain paper) along with detailed resume (with email & contact no.), attested copies of certificates and work experience to the undersigned latest by 25.10.2017. The interview date will be intimated later.

Essential Qualifications:

1. M.Sc. Degree in Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/Medicinal Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry with at least 55% marks

2. NET/NET-LS

Desirable: Prior knowledge of protein and peptide synthesis will be preferable.

Salary: The selected candidate will be paid stipend as per the SERB rules + HRA as per Central Govt./ Panjab University Rules.

Duration: Initial appointment for one year, extendable up to 3 years based on performance. The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Note: No TA / DA shall be paid for attending the interview.
