Advertisement for the post of Technical Assistant under BioNEST-PU

Applications are invited for one position of Technical Assistant (purely on temporary basis) for BioNEST at Panjab University (BN-PU), Chandigarh. The candidates will be appointed initially for a period of one year extendable for another year on the basis of evaluation after completion of the first year. The post is purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project. There will be no financial liability on the part of the University, after the termination of the project. The incumbent shall have no claim whatsoever for the regularization of his/her services.

Essential Qualifications:

(M.Sc./B.Tech./M.Tech. in any subject of Life Sciences such as Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Microbial Biotechnology or any other related area etc.) with minimum 60% marks

Desirable Qualifications:

Preference shall be given to candidates with experience in handling independent project OR assisting an ongoing project.

Emoluments: Rs. 15,000 (fixed) per month with an increment of Rs. 2,000 (fixed) per annum
