Advertisement for the post of Junior Research Fellow

Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the DRDO sponsored research project entitled Design and Development of Novel Peptides/Peptoids as Potential Drugs against selected pathogens sanctioned to the undersigned.

Essential Qualifications: The Candidate must have passed the M.Sc. with a minimum of 55% marks in Biophysics/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Allied fields.

Note: Candidate who have cleared GATE/NET-JRF/lectureship (UGC-CSIR joint test)/ICMR/Panjab Universitys Ph.D. entrance test, are encouraged to apply.

Desirable Experience:Prior knowledge of protein structural studies or computational studies.

Emoluments/Fellowship: The selected candidate will be paid stipend of Rs. 25,000/-p.m. + HRA as per Central Govt./ Panjab University Rules.

Duration: Initial appointment for one year, extendable up to 3 years based on performance. The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project.
