UNIVERSITY OF CALCUTTA Department of Islamic History and Culture Department of Islamic History and Culture, University of Calcutta invites application for the appointment of two (2 Nos) full time Project Fellow under the UGC-UPE- Phase II programme for the project entitled, Movement of Motifs in Chinese Trade Ceramics, Illustrated Books And Paintings through Medieval Trade Routes of Asia (13th -17th Century): An Intercultural Dialogue. Principal Investigator: Dr. Swati Biswas, Assistant Professor, Department of Islamic History and Culture, University of Calcutta; Co-investigator: Dr. Sutapa Sinha, Associate Professor, Department of Islamic History and Culture, University of Calcutta. Minimum Eligibility: M.A. with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade in Islamic History and Culture/ Ancient Indian History and Culture/ Archaeology/ Museology / History / South and South East Asia. Fellowship: Rupees 14,000/- + 30% HRA (per month) however NET/SET/SLET qualified candidates will get Rupees 16,000/- + 30% HRA (per month). No other allowance is permitted.
