The Department of French, University of Calcutta invites applications for the appointment of one (1) full time project Fellow under the UGC-UPE-II Programme for the project titled The Surreal in South-East Asian Womens Writing (in French).

Principal Investigator: Dr. Mohar Daschaudhuri, Assistant Professor, Department of Modern Languages (French)

Minimum Eligibility Criteria: M.A. with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in French.

Fellowship: Rs. 14000/month. No other allowance is permitted.

Date and Time of Submission of Application: Eligible candidates are requested to send their application along with a detailed C.V. to moharchaudhuri@gmail.com with e-mail subject: UGC-UPE-II Project Fellow on or before 18th October 2017.

Candidates must submit two copies of the application duly signed by themselves at the Teachers Room, Ashutosh Building addressed to the Head, Department of French, University of Calcutta on or before 18-10-2017. All copies of relevant certificates, attested by a gazetted officer, as well as signed by the candidate must accompany the application, along with two recent passport size photographs of the candidate, when the candidate presents himself/herself, on the day of the interview. The interview will be held on 27-10-17 (Friday) at 11:00 a.m. at the Department of French, Ashutosh Building, 87/1 College Street, University of Calcutta. No TA/DA will be paid for the interview.

All eligible candidates will be intimated by e-mail before 20-10-2017 about the interview.
