Department of Comparative Indian Language and Literature

Department of Comparative Indian Language and Literature, University of Calcutta, invites applications for the appointment of two (2 nos.) full-time project fellow under the UGC-UPE-Phase II programme for the project titled, South-East Asia: Colony and Beyond (Reading Critical Geo-Politics and Bengali Polysystem).

Principal Investigator: Dr. Mrinmoy Pramanick, Assistant Professor, Department of Comparative Indian Language and Literature, University of Calcutta.

Minimum Eligibility Qualification: M.A. with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade in Comparative Indian Language and Literature or any relevant discipline with specialization in Comparative Literature.

Fellowship: Rs. 14,000/- + HRA (Per Month). However, Candidates with NET/ SLET/ SET/ MPhil will get Rs. 16,000/- + HRA (Per Month). No other allowance is permitted.

Date and Time of Submission of Application: Eligible and interested candidates are requested to send their application along with detailed Curriculum Vitae to pathchala@gmail.com with email subject Application for Project Fellow, UPE-II, on or before 11th September, 2017. However, candidates must submit two copies of complete application form duly signed by the candidates, along with self-attested copies of all the relevant documents and two recent passport size photographs at the reporting time on the day of interview at the office of the Department of Comparative Indian Language and Literature, 1st Floor, Asutosh Building, University of Calcutta, 87/1 College Street, Kolkata- 700073; failing which the candidature will be summarily rejected. Intimation with call for interview after primary screening of application forms will be sent through email. No TA/DA will be paid for attending interview.
