Walk-in Interview

Interested eligible candidates are requested to appear before a selection committee on 4th September, 2017 at 11:30 A.M. in the Office of the Secretary, Rashbehari Shiksha Prangan, University of Calcutta, 92, A.P.C. Road, Kolkata-700009, for selection of the personnel to work in the Project entitled Brain behavior functioning of juvenile delinquents: Reshaping by integrated intervention programme, under Prof. Sanjukta Das (P.I.) and other Co-Investigators Dr. S. L. Vaya, Pt. Sarathi Chatterjee and Dr. Atanu Kumar Dogra. The required personnel are:

1. One Junior Research Fellow

Eligibility Criteria:

M.Sc. in Psychology (from UGC recognized University) with M. Phil. in Clinical Psychology (from RCI recognized Institution)

Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates having experience of working with individuals in conflict with law along with related research experience.

The position is purely on temporary basis and initially for one (1) year, extendable on successful evaluation of progress, to a maximum of three (3) years or termination of project whichever is earlier.

Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/- per month + HRA as per Funding Agencys Rules.

2. One Musician

Eligibility Criteria:

a) Post-graduate degree in Indian Classical Music (from UGC recognized University)

b) Performing artist

c) Experience in conducting seminars and workshops

d) Teaching experience for at least 15 years

e) All-India Radio Graded artist

f) Experience of handling Special Children

The position is purely on temporary basis and duration is one (1) year extendable, on successful evaluation of progress, to a maximum of 32 months or termination of project whichever is earlier.

Fellowship: Rs. 30,000/- per month (consolidated).

3. One Tabla player

Eligibility Criteria:

a) Bachelor degree from UGC recognized University

b) Teaching experience for at least 5 years

c) All-India Radio Graded artist

d) Experience of handling Special Children

The position is purely on temporary basis and duration is one (1) year extendable, on successful evaluation of progress, to a maximum of 32 months or termination of project whichever is earlier.

Fellowship: Rs. 15,000/- per month (consolidated).

No T.A./D.A. will be provided for the interviewee.

Interested Candidates are requested to appear in the interview with two sets of CV along with self attested copies of all testimonials and an application letter addressed to the Principal Investigator of the Project.

During interview, the candidates are required to carry all original credentials.
