Sub: Applications for the preparation of a rank list of Lecturers on contract in Computer Science for appointments at various UIT Centres reg.

Applications on prescribed format with detailed bio-data are invited for the preparation of a rank list for appointments in various UITs from qualified candidates who are willing to serve as full time Lecturers in Computer Science for a period of 12 months on contract basis at various Centres of University Institute of Technology, University of Kerala, as and when vacancies arise.

Qualification for the post:

Good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in M.Sc

Computer Science / M.C.A/ M.Tech in Computer Science.

• Preference will be given to candidates having Ph.D Degree or those who have cleared the NET conducted by UGC.
  
  

(A relaxation of 5% marks at Masters Level is allowed to the SC/ST candidates)

• Candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from Universities other than Kerala University should produce eligibility certificates obtained from this University, along with the application.
  
  
• Those who are eligible for communal reservation should submit necessary documents.
  
  

Age:

Age should not exceed 40 years as on 01-01-2017 (Usual relaxation in the upper age limit shall be allowed in the case of the candidates belonging to SC/ST, OBC Communities).

Remuneration:

The Lecturers on contract at the UITs will be paid a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand only ) and Rs.22,000/- (Rupees twenty two thousand only) for those who possess NET/Ph.D in Computer Science.

Applicants, if required, should appear for an interview at the University at their own expense. Application should be accompanied by copies of all relevant documents, a self addressed stamped envelope and a crossed Demand Draft / Bankers Cheque taken from SBI / DCBs for Rs.260/- (For SC/ST candidates Rs.110/-) drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, University of Kerala payable at Thiruvananthapuram or alternatively by remittance of Rs.250/- (For SC/ST Candidates Rs.100/-) in Kerala University Fund (KUF) at the university cash counter /Friends. Applicants name and purpose of remittance must be indicated on the reverse side of the demand draft / bankers cheque and in the case of chalan remittances, the original pay-in-slip should be attached along with the application.

The envelope containing the application super scribed with the name of the post applied for should reach the Deputy Registrar (Admn.III), University of Kerala, Senate House Campus, Palayam, Thiruvananathapuram, PIN: 695 034 by 05.00 p.m on 27-06-2017 at the latest.
