UNIVERSITY OF CALCUTTA Department of Commerce Date: 22/03/2018 Department of Commerce, University of Calcutta, invites applications for the appointment of two (2 no.) full-time Research Staff under the ICSSR Major Research Project titled, Merchant Banking Activities in Indian Primary Capital Market: An Empirical Study during Post-Reforms Period. Project Director: Dr. Siddhartha Sankar Saha, Associate Professor of Commerce, University of Calcutta. Minimum Eligibility Qualification: M.Com/ MBA/ /M.A. (Economics) /M.Sc. (Economics) with at least 55% marks and NET or M.Com/ MBA/ M.A. (Economics) /M.Sc. (Economics) with at least 55% marks and M.Phil./Ph.D. Desirable Qualification: Knowledge in Financial Markets, Statistics and Econometrics and expertise in statistical software packages (SPSS/ Stata/EViews) Fellowship: (a) Research Associate @ Rs. 16,000/- (Per Month) consolidated for maximum 18 months and as per the ICSSR Rules. No other allowance is permitted. Renewal of contract is subjected to evaluation of performance. (b) Filed Investigator @ Rs. 12,000/- (Per Month) consolidated for maximum 6 months and as per the ICSSR Rules. No other allowance is permitted. Duration of the Major Research Project: 24 months (twenty four months) from 15th January, 2018.
