Advertisement for the post of Project Fellow

Applications are invited for the position of a Project fellow in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics to work in the area of Growth of two dimensional layered nanomaterials for their possible applications in Electronic and Energy harvesting devices under INSPIRE Faculty research grant sponsored by Department of Science & Technology (DST), New Delhi.

Fellowship: Rs.14000/-(consolidated) per month (for NET/GATE qualified candidates). In case NET/GATE qualified candidate is not available, Project fellow: @Rs. 12000/-(consolidated) per month.

Qualification: M.Sc./M.Tech/B.TechPhysics/Applied Physics/Chemistry/ Nanoscience and Nanotechnology/Material Science/Chemical Engineering with at least 55% marks, with consistently good academic record. NET / GATE qualified candidates will be given preference.

The selected candidate will be appointed on purely temporary basis, initially for a period of one year or till his / her services are required by the Principal investigator or till validity of the project, whichever is earlier. Short-listed candidates will be intimated via e-mail on February 14, 2017 and the interviews will be held on February 16, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Committee Room, Department of Physics, Panjab University, Chandigarh.

Note: No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview.
