Research at Panjab University, Chandigarh.

Name of post: Sr. Scientist C

No. of Vacancy: 1 Salary (consolidated): Rs. 44,000/-Nature of post: Temporary

Essential Qualification:

1. Ph. D in any field of Science/Engineering with proven knowledge of Intellectual Property

Rights. OR

M. Tech. / M.E /M. Sc. with Degree/ Diploma/Certificate Course in Intellectual Property

Rights. OR

B. Tech. / B.E. with Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate Course in Intellectual Property Rights and 1 year of work experience in Industry

2. Age: Less than 40 years

Desirable:

i. S&T policy research experience

ii. Experience of preparing detailed document, report, etc.

Name of post: Scientific Officer

No. of Vacancy: 1 Salary (consolidated): Rs. 33,000/-Nature of post: Temporary

Essential Qualification:

Masters in Computer Science or IT with 1 year of work experience in Industry. OR

Bachelors in Computer Science or IT with 3 years of work experience in Industry.

Desirable: The candidate should have

i. Hands on Experience in Website management (Development, Maintenance and

Updation), Network Maintenance and Troubleshooting

ii. Work Experience in Research and Development (R&D)

iii. Hands on Experience in Flash/Multimedia/Photoshop Software,

iv. Hands on Experience in Office Tools and Suites

Conditions:

  5. Candidates applying for both the posts should submit separate applications. If it is not complied, the application forms will be rejected.
  6. If the number of eligible applicants is more than 30, an Aptitude Test will be conducted, based on the (i) Basic knowledge of Science and Policy matters and Intellectual Property Rights for the post of Sr. Scientist C and (ii) Basic knowledge of Science and Policy matters and Computer/IT field for the post of Scientific Officer.

  7. The Fee for the Test is Rs. 200/-for each post and will be collected prior to the start of the Test. The top 20 candidates, based on the score of the Aptitude Test, will be called for the Interview to be conducted on the same day. The interview will be based on Soft Skills and Domain Knowledge

  8. The last date for the submission of application is Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017 till 5 pm.

  9. The list of eligible and ineligible candidates and the date of Interview/Aptitude Test will be uploaded at www.cpr.puchd.ac.in on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017.
