Applications are invited for one position of Project Assistant (purely temporary basis) for Cluster Innovation Centre in Biotechnology (CIC-B) at Panjab University, Chandigarh. The candidates will be appointed initially for a period of one year extendable on the basis of yearly evaluation. The posts are purely temporary (yearly basis) and co-terminus with the project. There will be no financial liability on the part of the university, after the termination of the project. The incumbent shall have no claim whatsoever for the regularization of his/her services. Name of Position: Project Assistant (purely temporary basis) Number of positions: One Project: Cluster Innovation Centre in Biotechnology (CIC-B) Essential Qualifications: Candidate must have a bachelor's Degree in Science and/ or Candidate must have Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with minimum 60% marks

OR

M.Sc. degree in Microbiology or Biotechnology or Microbial Biotechnology having experience in field of applied Microbiology or Biotechnology. Candidates with experience will be preferred.

OR

Candidate must have a bachelor's Degree in any subject of life sciences with at least one year of experience i. e. Candidates in the final year of Masters are also eligible Desirable Qualifications:

1. o Proficiency in MS Office
   
   
2. o Good typing skills
   
   

o Proficiency in English (both spoken and written) Emoluments: Rupees 15,000 (fixed) per month.
