Applications are invited for the position of a LABORATORY ATTENDANT under an ICMR project, Enfeebling the metal induced proteins responsible for antibiotic resistance in Salmonella enterica serovar Typhi through proteomics to be executed in the Department of Microbiology, Panjab University, Chandigarh. The duration of the project is 03 years upto 07.03.2020. The post is purely temporary and will co-terminate with the project. There will be no financial liability on the part of the university, after the termination of the project. The incumbent shall have no claim whatsoever for the regularization of his/her services.

Essential Qualifications: 10+2 in Science or 10 Pass in Second Division with 2 years working experience in a Laboratory Desirable: Experience of working in laboratory and having Computer skills. Age limit : Less than 35 years as on the date of the interview

Salary: Rs.15,800/-p.m. fixed (10% increase in 2and 3year). Job requirements: To assist the research team in experimental work, maintain/clean the laboratory and the equipments, all the computer work along with secretarial assistance for auditing of bills and other duties as assigned by the PI.
