Advertisement for Project Fellow / Project Associate I

Applications are invited from research motivated candidates for one purely temporary Project Fellow/Project Associate -I in Collaborative Research Scheme [CRS] Project of UGC-DAE CSR, Indore Center entitled To determine mixed valence state of Mn, Fe and Ru in CaMnFeO and LiMnRuO. In this project, student will get a chance to work on the synchrotron radiation at Indus 2 beamline in Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology (RRCAT) centre of Indore along with research work in Centre of Material Sciences, UOA. The details of minimum qualifications, duration and fellowship of project are as follows:

• Essential Qualifications: Project Felllow: M.Sc. in Materials Science/Chemistry (Solid State Chemistry specialization)/Physics (Condensed matter specialization) with a minimum of 55% marks Project Associate I : M.Sc. in Materials Science/Chemistry (Solid State Chemistry specialization)/Physics (Condensed matter specialization) with a minimum of 55% marks + GATE(valid score)/ NET-JRF / Lectureship (UGC-CSIR joint test)
  
  
• Duration of the project: Presently for one year but it may be extended on year basis subject to a total period of three years
  
  
• Amount of fellowship: Rs. 14,000/-pm + HRA (for project fellow); Rs. 25000/-pm + HRA (for Project Associate -I)
  
  

Non GATE/NET candidate will be eligible for registering in Ph.D. if they qualify the CRET exam conducted by the University of Allahabad. Selected GATE/NET-JRF qualified candidate will also be eligible for registering for Ph.D. as per University of Allahabad rules and regulations. General Terms and Conditions

1. Mere fulfilling the minimum qualifications will not entitle the candidate for being called for interview. The decision of the selection committee will be final.
   
   
2. Shortlisted candidates should appear for interview in person with originals and one set of self attested photocopies of degree certificates.
   
   
3. The above fellowship is purely temporary and will terminate automatically without any notice or compensation on termination of the research scheme and the research student shall have no claim of appointment / absorption in UGC DAE CSR. An undertaking to the effect must be given by the student at the time of joining.
   
   
4. The student may required (i) to travel to Indore from time to time for conducting experiments (ii) to stay in UGC-DAE CSR Centre for about 3 months in a year or as stipulated by UGC-DAE CSR from time to time. All the conditions will be decided by PI based on the project requirements.
   
   
5. The selected individual may be assigned to perform any other duties related to project work time to time commensurate with his/her qualifications .
   
   
6. No TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview.
