Post of one Junior Research Fellow

Interested and eligible candidates are requested to appear in the walk -in-interview before a Selection Committee on September 22, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at the A. N. Daw Conference Room, Sisir Mitra Bhavan, Institute of Radio Physics and Electronics, 92, A.P.C. Road, Kolkata-700009 for the post of one JRF for a Research Project entitled Development of engineered mount for single element dielectric resonator antenna and arrays for space borne applications sponsored by ISRO, Dept. of Space, Govt. of India, under the supervision of Prof. Debatosh Guha.

Minimum qualification for JRF is

M. Tech./M.E. Degree in Radio Physics and Electronics or equivalent

M. Sc. in Physics with Electronics as a special subject / M. Sc. in Electronic Science

B.E./B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering.

The M. Sc./B.E/B.Tech. applicants should be NET/GATE qualified. Some research experiences as evidenced by Journal/Conference publications are desirable.

Remunerations for JRF is Rs. 25,000/- pm +30% HRA. Upper age limit is 28 years for JRF as on 22.09.2017, relaxable up to 5 years for Woman/SC/ST /OBC/PWD candidates. The tenure of the JRF is one year at present but is likely to be continued till the end of the project.

Candidates willing to appear in the interview must bring (i) All originals of the testimonials, and (ii) Two sets of complete applications furnishing biodata with passport photo pasted on a plain paper, enclosing all attested copies of testimonials. No TA/DA is permissible for the interview.
