COMPANY PROFILE:

Ircon Infrastructure & Services Limited (IrconISL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ircon International Limited, which is a government company under the Ministry of Railways engaged in providing project management, quality management, safety, health and environment related consultancy services and other business support and incidental services to clients in India and abroad.

The company invites applications from dynamic Civil Engineers for the following post on Contract basis (three years) at fixed all inclusive salary for posting in its Myanmar Projects.

B-1. Application neatly typed on A-4 size paper in the format given below should be addressed and sent to Chief Executive Officer, Ircon Infrastructure & Services Limited as per address given in table (B-2) below accompanied with the self attested photocopies of the following documents :
1. Matriculation Certificate (for age proof);
2. Certificate of professional Degree(s) along with marksheet (s);
3. Certificates in proof of experience clearly indicating the length and line of experience;
4. Copy of valid Community certificate (SC, ST, OBC etc.) if any. Candidates applying under OBC category (non creamy layer) will have to submit a latest financial year caste certificate in the centre format applicable for applying for the posts under Govt. of India;
5. Valid passport.

B-2. Applications must reach to this office latest by 18-05-2017. Application received after due date will not be considered. No interview call letters will be issued Applications received via e-mail will not be considered.

Selection process for only those candidates will be conducted who are eligible as per the eligibility criteria. List of shortlisted candidates for interviews shall be displayed on our web-site. Candidates are requested to check their eligibility before coming for interview.
Applicants are, therefore, advised to check their eligibility thoroughly while applying so as to avoid disappointment at a later stage. The applicants must bring the original certificates in proof of age, community, educational qualifications and experience while coming for the interview failing which the interview of the candidate will not be held.
Incomplete or vague applications will be rejected summarily. Applications not in the prescribed format, unsigned, without a photograph will also not be entertained. IrconISL will not be responsible for loss of application in transit or postal delay. IrconISL on discretion reserves the right to reject any application or cancel the candidature without assigning any reason thereof.

If any information provided by the candidate is found to be false or incorrect or not in conformity with the eligibility criteria, then his/her candidature is liable to be rejected/cancelled at any stage of recruitment.

B-7. Applicants working in Govt./PSUs may note that this is a short duration contract post and even for these posts they have to produce NOC at the time of interview and resign from their parent organisation on their selection.

Degree in Civil Engineering with not less than 60% Marks. M. Tech shall be given preference.

Minimum 9 Years experience in construction/supervision of Minimum

2 lane Highway projects (flexible/ rigid pavement)/ Railway Project and Major/Minor Bridges. Experience of survey/quality control along with supervision works and Experience in PMC shall be given preference.

* Age Relaxations :

The upper age limits are further relaxable in deserving cases having relevant experience and as per Government of Indias guidelines.

Passport :

Candidate must have valid passport. In absence of same, the candidate should submit proof of having submitted application for Passport (however in such cases appointment will be subject to issuance of passport only).

Medical Standards:

Selected candidates will undergo prescribed health examination for the job before they join the post. Candidates should be in sound health and free from colour blindness.

Selection Process :

Selection will be through Interview. The schedule for interview is given at para B-2 below.

General Terms of Appointment

A-1. Above posts are specifically for Myanmar Projects and not for regular establishment of IrconISL. The appointment is purely on contract initially for three years, extendable further as per company's requirements and performance of the candidates. The contract appointment is also co-terminus with the project and will not confer any right to claim absorption in regular establishment of company. Selected candidate will be posted to any project/location in Myanmar at discretion of the company. Contract can be terminated by IrconISL by giving one month notice at any time.

There are no allowances over and above the fixed monthly pay.
NRE benefits (Income tax exemptions) shall be applicable for above appointment.
Reimbursement for indoor treatment for self at the place of posting only would be permissible as per companys rule.
Bachelor accommodation (dormitory) will be provided in Myanmar at place of posting.

Mess facility (chargeable) shall also be provided.
Minimum PF as prescribed under the EPF & MP Act 1952 will be deducted from the salary and a matching contribution will be made by the company.
15 days earned leave would be admissible on completion of every 6 months service which would be accumulated and encashed at the time of cessation of contract. No other type of leave would be admissible.
An insurance coverage of Rs. 10 Lac will be given on foreign posting to provide financial security.
Airfare (economy class) for mobilization and demobilization for self only shall be paid by IrconISL. VISA shall be arranged by IrconISL. During contract period, selected candidate will be reimbursed one time return economy airfare for visit to India on completion of 18 months of service in Myanmar.
No other perks or benefits would be admissible except the above.
Surety Bond: Selected candidates have to execute a bond of Rupees 5 lakhs to serve the company for contract period.
10% of monthly salary will be kept as retention money, which shall be refunded (without any interest) on successful & faithful completion of contract period.
On successful completion of assignment in Myanmar, based on the performance of the individual & requirement of the company, the above posts/candidates may be considered for regular appointment in IrconISL.
