Applications are invited through SPEED POST for the Selection of Assistant Professor (Contractual) and Laboratory Instructor in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering and Mathematics for the Faculty of Engineering, University of Lucknow, Lucknow.

Only those candidates who meet minimum eligibility criteria as per First Statute of University of Lucknow are eligible to apply. The eligibility criteria are as follows:

For Assistant Professor (Contractual):

Assistant Professor (Contractual) in Civil Engineering 02 B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in Civil Engineering with first class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech.
Assistant Professor 02 B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in Electronics &
(Contractual) in Electronics & Communication Engineering with first class or
Communication Engineering equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech. Note: At least one Assistant Professor should have good knowledge of Microprocessor.
Assistant Professor (Contractual) in Electrical Engineering 02 B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in Electrical Engineering with first class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech.
Assistant Professor (Contractual) in Mechanical Engineering 02 B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with first class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech.
Assistant Professor (Contractual) in Computer Science & Engineering 02 B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering with first class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech.
Assistant Professor (Contractual) in Mathematics 02 i. Good academic record as defined by the concerned University with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Masters degree level in Mathematics from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. ii. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. iii. Notwithstanding anything contained in (i) and (ii) candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement for the appointment of Lecturer or equivalent position in Universities/Colleges/ Institutions. Note: At least one Assistant Professor should have good knowledge of Statistics/Numerical Techniques.

Remuneration:

Assistant Professor (Contractual) -Rs.45,000/-per month (consolidated)
Laboratory Instructor -Rs.15,000/-per month (consolidated)
Important Instructions:

i. The candidate may download the application form available at the end. The complete application should be addressed to the Registrar, University of Lucknow, 226007 (U.P). The application form must accompany self attested copies of certificate of qualification, experience and a passport size photograph.

ii. The candidate must submit the application fee in the form of D.D. in favour of Finance Officer, University of Lucknow, Lucknow along with application form as follows: For Assistant Professor (Contractual): Rs.1000=00 (Rupees One Thousand Only) For Laboratory Instructor : Rs.500=00 (Rupees Five Hundred Only)

iii. The number of posts may be changed depending on actual requirement.

iv.
No TA/DA shall be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
v.
This assignment is purely temporary and no claim for regularization of appointment shall be entertained at any stage in future.

vi. Reservation policy of State Government will also be applicable.

vii. Qualification and experience prescribed above are the minimum and mere possession of the same may not entitle any candidate to be called for interview. There shall be board for screening the applications received against the advertisement.

viii. The University have the right to accept or reject any or all applications without assigning any reason.

ix. Any dispute will be subject to Lucknow (U.P.), Jurisdiction only.
