A walk-in-interview will be held on 29th June, 2017 at 11.30 am in the room of the Head of the Department, Department of Botany, University of Kalyani for appointment to the following posts in a Dept. of Environment, Govt. of West Bengal sponsored project entitled Spatio-temporal variation of water quality with respect to bio-geochemical parameters in and around Indian Sundarbans jointly under West Bengal Pollution Control Board and Dr. Neera Sen Sarkar (Jt. Coordinator), Dept. of Botany, University of Kalyani.

Age Limit: Candidates maximum age should be 35 years for posts RA1, RA2, SRF1, SRF2, PA1 & PA2 and 28 years for post- JRF1 & JRF2. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Place of posting: Posts RA1, SRF1, JRF1, PA1 & PA2 Department of Botany, University of Kalyani, Kalyani, West Bengal; Posts RA2, SRF2 & JRF2 West Bengal Pollution Control Board, Salt Lake, Kolkata, West Bengal.
Fellowship/ Monthly emoluments (consolidated): For posts RA1 & RA2 Rs. 25,000/-per month; posts SRF1 & SRF2 Rs. 18,700/- per month; posts JRF1 & JRF2 Rs. 16,400/- per month; posts PA1 & PA2 Rs. 8,000/- per month. The appointment shall initially be for one year and may be extended on satisfactory performance.
Interested candidates are requested to appear in person directly on the specified date and time of the interview with an application for candidature along with two sets of bio-data, self-attested copies of certificates, mark sheets and testimonials. The candidates should also bring the originals of the testimonials for verification. No TA/DA will be paid for the interview.
