Applications are invited for the post of a Project Assistant (three years) for the DST (SERB) sponsored research project Investigations on the critical behavior at the smectic-A to smectic-C phase transition in liquid crystals from high-resolution optical and calorimetric studies under the supervision of Prof. M. K. Das of Department of Physics within 15 days from the date of the advertisement. The candidate should be M.Sc. in Physics with good academic record. Specialization in Condensed Matter Physics/Electronics is desirable. A consolidated fellowship of Rs. 16,000/- p.m. will be paid. Application may be sent to the Principal Investigator, Prof. M. K.
