National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC), New Delhi on behalf of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW) is seeking resumes from qualified candidates for the above mentioned post purely on contractual basis.

Purpose of the position:
The basic purpose for the position will be to support the MoHFW in managing Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyaan (PMSMA) and new initiatives in Maternal Health with the competencies and capacity to ensure effective support to Government in implementation, monitoring and documentation of PMSMA and new initiatives in Maternal Health.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide support for roll-out of Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyaan (PMSMA) and new initiatives in Maternal Health and achievement of overall programme targets (number and quality) by facilitating continuous improvement in PMSMA performance through supportive supervision visits in states/districts.
- Assessment of progress on roll-out of PMSMA and new initiatives in Maternal Health through, e.g., analysis of reports received, data available through HMIS, field visits, etc.
- Provide support in conducting review meetings on PMSMA & new initiatives in Maternal Health within the Ministry and with the States/UTs.
- Undertake field visits to Districts/facilities; whenever required, observation of delivery of services to identify strengths and weaknesses and discuss and agree steps to overcome the latter. Follow up to ensure that the agreed steps are implemented.
- Review of existing guidelines and modification/preparation of revised guidelines (if required) - based on feedback from field visits / monitoring; ensure that necessary approvals are obtained and guidelines are disseminated through, e.g., workshops, etc.
- Review of technical documents, preparation of operational guidelines, PPTs, white papers, policy notes for above mentioned programmes.
- Assistance to States/UTs to bring about continuous process improvement in planning and monitoring systems towards improving service delivery/quality.
- Identify best practices and innovations within states and districts and support states to document and upload these on the innovation portal.
- Undertake review of current literatures, various survey reports and assess the current trend and progress.
- Undertake other assignments, which may be assigned from time to time by the Reporting Authority.
Eligibility:
- Post Graduate degree in Social Work/ Health Management/ MBA from a reputed and recognized institution;
- Minimum 5 years of Post Qualification experience preferably in development sector;
- Familiarity with the public health system and relevant government policies/ strategies, particularly National Health Mission and State Health Societies will be an advantage;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, analytical and interpersonal abilities, excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Hindi;
- Proficiency in managing social media accounts with high level of familiarity with MS Word, Excel, Power Point;
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment;
- Preference would be given to the candidate having experience of working with Centre / State / UT health department.
- Conditions of formal educational qualification and experience could be relaxed when there is published work of High quality or whenever there is work experience of specific relevance.
Reporting: Reports to: The Concerned Technical /Programme Officer/Director.
Age: Upper limit 55 years as on last date for receiving application and having sound health to undertake field visits.
Remuneration Range: Between Rs. 90,000/- to Rs. 1,30,000/- per month.
