NOTIFICATION

Sub:-School of Distance Education-Appointment of Lecturers on contract basis reg.

Applications on plain paper with full bio-data are invited from candidates having qualifications as follows for appointment as Lecturer on contract basis in Mathematics at the School of Distance Education, Palayam, Thiruvananthapuram for a period of one year.

I. Qualifications: -

1. Good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade at Masters Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University.
   
   
2. Candidates should have cleared the eligibility test for Lectureship conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC.
   
   

The Candidates who are, or have been awarded a Ph. D degree in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedures for Award of Ph. D Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of NET qualifications.

A relaxation of 5% marks at Masters level is allowed to SC/ST candidates and Ph.D holders who have passed their Masters' Degree prior to 19.09.1991.

II. Age: Not more than 40 years as on 01.01.2017.(Relaxation applicable as per norms) Qualification for Retired Teachers:

Retired Teachers with Ph.D can also apply.

III Remuneration (consolidated): Rs. 25,000/-per month.

The applications should be accompanied by Chalan Receipt for Rs.100/-remitted to Kerala University Cash Counter/FRIENDS or Demand Draft for Rs.100/-drawn in favour of Finance Officer, University of Kerala towards registration fee. The application along with the copies of certificates, mark lists, Eligibility Certificate obtained from Kerala University (For candidates who possess qualifying degrees from other Universities), contact numbers (mobile/land) and email-id should reach the Deputy Registrar (Admn. III), University of Kerala, Senate House Campus, Palayam on or before 15.03.2017.
