Applications are invited for the post of JRF for DST-SERB sponsored research project

Title of the project: Ionic-liquid-mediated microwave-assisted synthesis of rare-earth nanomaterials for bio-probe applications

Funding Agency: DST-SERB, Government of India

Project Duration: 3 Years

Project Fellowship: Rs. 25000/= + 20% HRA for NET candidates and Rs. 18,000/= + 20% HRA for non-NET candidates

Essential Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Chemistry/Physics/Biology/Material Science/Nanotechnology or graduate/postgraduate degree in a professional course. NET/GATE candidates will be given preference.

The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The duration of the project is initially for a period of one year, but extendable to another year as JRF and subsequently position can be promoted to SRF after assessment by a committee. The candidate engaged in the project will not have any claim whatsoever for continuation of services in "DST-SERB/University of Kashmir after completion/termination of the project.

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates appearing for the interview.
