Educational Qualification

Essential:

Bachelors degree in Engineering in the fields related to Information Technology/ Electronics / Communication/ Computer Science from a recognized university.

Desirable :

Masters Degree in Engineering in the above fields.

MBA/ PG Diploma in Management from an Institute of repute ( additional specialization in IT / Telecom/ Systems is desirable )

Experience

Minimum 20 years of experience with sufficient exposure at decision making level.

At least 10 years of experience at senior level in an Electronics/ IT Company or as the CEO of any medium scale organisation with annual turnover of Rs. 100 Crores and above.

Experience in handling of team focused on conceptualising, strategizing and implementing development/ integration & end to end delivery of large IT projects/ programs.

Age

Up to 55 years.

Desired Exposure

Creation & conceiving technology roadmaps as per the goals of the organization.

Extensive exposure in managing and consulting large IT implementation projects in Government sector.

Concept development, Piloting Proof of Concept (POC) in the areas of networks, data centres and applications.

Experience in end to end solution and preparing DPRs/ RFPs/ EOI, Vendor selection and management, Contract and SLA management in large IT infrastructure and application development projects.

Experience in IT delivery management in multiple geographic locations with distributed teams for global organisations/ clients.

Knowledge of current and emerging IT trends.

Experience in the e-Governance field.

Exceptional communication and client service skills, with an ability to partner with senior Government leaders & other clients for the projects.

Ability to collaborate with strategists, consultants, creatively oriented professionals, and technologists, and ability to seamlessly integrate and draw from diverse skillsets and competencies.

Excellent presentation, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Job Roles and Responsibilities

Be an influential leader on conceptualizing, designing, developing & delivering IT & ITeS solutions & products in line with the strategic roadmap of the company and work closely with different Government Departments and Client teams to understand the business and customer needs. The focus relentlessly should be on creating real, bottom-line impact, by leveraging emerging technologies.

Lead Strategy from a Technology perspective, working with leaders to proactively identify technology solutions that meet business imperatives and that can provide a competitive advantage to the end-customer.

Prepare strategies focusing on overall Business revenue plans & budgets, real & bottom-line growth.

Lead the team of Managers within the organization.

Build cross-functional development teams to deliver integrated and customised technical solutions

Develop long term plans to support and sustain WTL anticipating future IT trends and work towards keeping the organization ahead in terms of emerging technology implementation opportunities.

Develop high-level strategies to enable new business opportunities for WTL and advise Chairman, Principal Secretary of the Department of PAR and senior stakeholders in the state.

Concept development, Piloting Proof of Concept (POC) in the areas of solution architecture and IT infrastructure including networks, data centres & develop new product and customer experiences through Digital innovation.

Constantly look for out of the box solutions to solve both existing and future challenges.

Define Quality management processes and systems

Working in the Government environment and adherence to Government rules, procedures, policies and functionalities.
