1. PROFESSOR OF LAW (37400-67000+AGP 10000-UGC Scales)

Essential Qualifications :

A. (i) An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification(s) in the concerned/ allied/relevant discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research / policy papers in indexed/ ISBN/ISSN numbered journals and/or ISBN/ISSN numbered books and the University developed ISBN/ISSN numbered list of journals/books hosted in the website of the concerned University.

A minimum of 10 years of teaching experience in university/college, and/or experience in research at the University/National Level institutions/industries, including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level.
Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology
A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based on Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) as prescribed by the UGC.

2. ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF LAW (37400-67000+AGP 9000-UGC Scales)

Essential Qualifications:

Good academic record with a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines.
LL.M. Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed)
A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and / or research in an academic / research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry excluding the period of Ph.D research with evidence of published work and a minimum of 5 publications as books and/or research/policy papers in indexed/ISBN/ISSN numbered books/journals and University developed - ISBN/ISSN list of journals hosted in the website of the concerned University.
Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology mediated teaching learning process with evidence of having guided doctoral candidates and research students.
A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) as prescribed by the UGC.

3. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF LAW (15600-39100+AGP 6,000-UGC Scales)

Essential Qualifications:

Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Masters Degree (LL.M.) level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Lecturer/Assistant Professor conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-clauses (i) and (ii) , candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or the subsequent Regulations if notified by the UGC, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities /Colleges / Institutions.

Note: Essential Qualifications are determined according to Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education Regulations, 2010 as well as (3rd Amendment) Regulations, 2016 of UGC.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Registration Fee: Rs. 1,000/-

The Registration fee should be paid by way of demand draft drawn in favour of Registrar, Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University, Visakhapatnam payable at Visakhapatnam and should be attached along with the application form. Registration fee will not be refundable.

Note: Candidates applying for more than one post should apply in separate application for each post along with the fee prescribed.

Candidates should apply in the prescribed application form which can be downloaded from the University website www.dsnlu.ac.in along with registration fee and the same should be sent to the Registrar, Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University, NYAYAPRASTHA, Sabbavaram, Visakhapatnam 531035 (A.P), India.
Candidates are advised to include the details of their API Score as per UGC Regulations in support of the claim for eligibility. Also the candidates have to submit the latest details of their API Score at the time of Interview.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

The prescribed qualifications and experience are minimum and the mere fact that a candidate possesses the same will not entitle him / her for being called for interview. The University reserves the right to restrict the candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable number on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed; or by any other condition that it may deem fit.
The list of short-listed candidates will be placed on DSNLU website about the time, date and venue of the interview and the candidates will be informed of the same through e-mail.
No correspondence will be entertained with applicants who are not short-listed.
The candidates are advised to note that the above appointment is on contract tenure basis initially for a period of five years and renewable on satisfactory performance of the candidate.
The above posts will be governed by EPF / Contributory Pension Scheme of Government of Andhra Pradesh as applicable to the University.
