Advertisement for the Junior Research Fellow position under CSIR funded Research Project in the Department of Mathematics:

Co-PI : Prof. Prasanta Kumar Das (Department of Physics)

Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the CSIR Govt. of India sponsored research project entitled Study on Dark Energy, Dark Matter and Cosmic Acceleration of the Universe in Modified Gravity.

Eligibility : JRF (1 post): M.Sc in Mathematics (with good Physics background)/M.Sc Physics (with good Mathematics background) with minimum 60% marks. It is desirable that the candidates have cleared NET / GATE/JEST.

Desirable: Candidate should have specialization in Special Relativity and in General Theory of Relativity (e.g. Tensor algebra and some familiarities with Differential geometry) in M.Sc. Mathematics/Physics.

Fellowship & HRA : Salary & HRA as per CSIR Govt. of India rule based on the candidates highest degree and qualification.

Tenure of fellowship : Three years

Registration for Ph.D. : Selected candidate will have opportunity to register for the Full time Ph.D. program at the BITS PILANI University.
