Temporary Appointment of Geological Analyst for one years on Contractual Basis

Directorate of Geology invites application for the post of Geological Analyst having experience in Mineral Analysis for at least six months. The engagement shall be purely temporary and on fixed remuneration for a period of one year.

2. Medical Standards:

Engagement of selected candidates shall be subject to his/her being declared physically and mentally fit by Govt. Medical Officer/CMO for the work.

3. Leave:

The selected candidates shall be entitled for casual leaves for one calendar year as per State Government Servant. But they shall not be entitled for other leaves.

Facilities and Allowances:-

Selected candidates remuneration will be fixed. No allowances as- D.A., HRA, CCA, etc. will be admissible except fixed remuneration.

4. Duration of Contract:

The contract will be only for a period of (01) one year and service will be fully contractual.

5. Selection Process:-

i. The Selection of eligible candidates for the post of Geological Analyst on fixed term contract basis will be done by the Selection Committee through walk in Interview.

ii. The Final merit will be drawn purely on the basis of performance in the Interview, academic record and experience of the Candidate.

6. Reservation and Age Relaxation:-

Reservation/Age Relaxations SC/ST/OBC candidates shall be given as per Government of Jharkhand policy/directives subject to production of valid certificate in prescribed format issued by competent authority i.e. an Officer of the State Government not below the rank of SDO. The candidates belonging to OBC category should produce non-creamy layer certificate for serving State of Jharkhand.

7. General Information and Instructions:

i. The selection procedure for contractual appointment/termination will be covered by the circulars vide Finance Department Letter No. 4569 dated 05.07.2002.

ii. Only Indian National needs to apply. On the basis of obtaining equally qualified marks, the inhabitants of Jharkhand will be preferred in this appointment.

iii. Candidates are advised to carefully read the full advertisement for details of educational qualifications, age and other eligibility criteria and ensure that he/she fulfills the eligibility criteria and other conditions mentioned in this advertisement for the post of Geological Analyst on contract basis.

iv. State Government will take up verification of eligibility conditions with reference to original documents at the time of walk in interview. Mere appearing in walk in interview of the candidates will not imply that his/her candidature has been finally cleared by State Government.

v. Candidates have to bring all original relevant documents and testimonials for appearing in walk in interview; otherwise his/her candidature will not be entertained.

vi. In case it is detected at any stage that a candidate does not fulfill the eligibility criteria, his/her candidature shall be rejected /cancelled without assigning any reason, thereof. Similarly, even after joining, if it is found that he/she has furnished any incorrect information or suppressed any relevant information/material information, his/her candidature/ services shall be summarily terminated without notice.

vii. The cutoff date for reckoning educational qualification and age etc. shall be the 01.04.2017.

viii. For the above post, candidates should possess B.Sc (Hons.) in Chemistry Degree from an Indian University/Institute/Board approved or recognized by Government /UGC/ AICTE/ appropriate statutory authority, as the case may be in their respective case.

ix. The above vacancies are tentative and provisional. State Government reserves the right to increase / decrease or not to fill up any of these vacancies or cancel / restrict / enlarge/ modify / alter the recruitment process, if need so arise, without issuing any further notice or assigning any reason what so ever.

x. Please note that TA/DA will not be paid to the candidates appearing for walk in interview and they have to arrange their own stay by themselves only.

xi. No correspondence will be entertained from the candidates for selection/walk in interview etc. Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualification.

xii. No application fee required for appearing in walk in interview.

xiii. Any legal proceedings in respect of any matter or claim or dispute out of this advertisement and/or an application in response thereto can be instituted in Ranchi (Jharkhand State) only and courts/tribunals/forum at Ranchi (Jharkhand State) only shall have sole and exclusive jurisdiction to try any such cause/dispute.

xiv. Any corrigendum / addendum / errata in respect of the above advertisement shall be made available only on our official website - www.jharkhand.gov.in. No further press advertisement will be given. Hence, prospective applicants are advised to visit State Govt. of Jharkhand website regularly for the above purpose.

xv. The engagement is purely temporary basis for one year. This placement will not entitle any candidate to claim for regular/ permanent employment in State Govt. of Jharkhand.

xvi. The candidates may be posted in State Geological Laboratory, Hazaribagh and he is liable to discharge duties assigned to him.

xvii. The candidates are required to carry original & photocopies of all the above supporting documents for verification along with a copy of filled application form at the time of walk in interview.

8. How To Apply:-

ii. Interested Candidates meeting with eligible criteria may download the application form from official website of the department and fill in all respect before submission of filled form with self attested certificates in support of age, educational qualification, professional qualification/testimonials, caste certificate, experience etc. with two passport size photographs in

the Directorate of Geology, Department of Industry, Mines & Geology, Government of Jharkhand, Engineers Hostel No.-2, 2nd Floor, Dhurwa, Ranchi-834004.

iii. Form should be submitted by speed post or registered post only upto 18th August 2017 till 5.00 P.M.

iv. After proper scrutiny of received from eligible candidates will be intimated through e-mail/sms to appear in interview on fixed date.

9. The Name of Selected candidates will be published on Notice Board.
