Candidates are invited to attend Walk-In Interview for project posts on contract basis at the above mentioned address at 9.30 AM on 06.01.2017 (Friday).

Name of the project: Assay development for Plasmodium vivax infected hepatocytes in micropatterened Co-culture plates .

Job description: The main job is to continuous maintenance of mosquito colony, dissection of mosquitoes for gut and gland infection. Strict handling of human malaria-infected mosquitoes following good laboratory practices. Maintenance of aseptic conditions for sporozoite harvesting for liver-stage assays.

Duration: One year from January to December 2017 subject to periodical review.

Instructions to the applicant:

1. Age Relaxation is admissible in respect of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government of India Rules.

2. Age concession to the extent of service rendered in other research projects will also be admissible for experience and skilled persons.

3. In the application all the fields should be filled. No field should be left blank. Write Not applicable if any field does not apply to your position

4. Clear proof of Qualifications, Experience, Caste / Community should be attached. Applications without these required attachments shall be rejected.

5. Incomplete application or Application without supportive evidence asked for, shall be summarily rejected.

7 Candidate should submit all certificates / testimonials in original for verification. Candidates who fail to bring the Original Certificates for written test / Interview will not be considered.

8 Experience certificate should clearly state the nature of work during the period of employment.

9 Community/ Caste certificate: Candidates applying under OBC category, shall submit attested copy of OBC Non Creamy Layer Certificate in specified format, issued within one year from the closing date of application by the appropriate authority.

10 No- Objection Certificate from the current employer (for Govt./AB/PSU Servants only).

11 All posts are Contractual for the duration offered. The appointment may be renewed after every specific period of time subject to satisfactory performance and project requirement.

12 The incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointments under NIE/ICMR or continuation of his/her services in any other project.

13 TA/DA will not be paid for attending the written test/ interview.

14 The Institute reserves the right to fill up or not to fill the advertised posts.

The Director/Selection Committee has the right to accept / reject any application without assigning any reason thereof and no recommendation in this matter will be entertained.
