activities in the field of rural development. The Institute proposes to engage services

of qualified and experienced person on short term contract basis for the positions

as detailed below:

Name of the Centre: CGARD Technology Centre, Madagascar.

Project Title : INDIAN PROJECT TECHNICAL MANPOWER FOR CGARD TECHNOLOGY CENTRE, MADAGASCAR AND HYDERABAD

Age : 30 years (Relaxation as per Govt. of India norms)

(A) INDIAN PROJECT TECHNICAL MANPOWER FOR CGARD TECHNOLOGY CENTRE, MADAGASCAR

1. Number of Positions : 02
   
   
2. Monthly Remuneration: US $ 1500
   
   
3. Travel Support: Once during joining & once on return trip after the assignment
   
   
4. Project Period: Maximum upto 3 years extendable based on performance and requirement.
   
   
5. Accommodation: Provided by NIRD&PR Rental Accommodation at Site Office.
   
   
6. Place of Posting: Antananarivo, Madagascar.
   
   

1) Project Scientist (GIS) -1 No.

Qualifications and Experience:

M Sc/ M Tech/ Ph.D or equivalent in Geo-informatics/ GIS/ RS/ Geomatics having

adequate GIS experience will be preferred with any of the related Academic

Background like IT/ CS/ Civil Engg/ Geography/ Earth Sciences etc.

2)Project Scientist (Image Processing & GPS) -1 No.

Qualifications and Experience:

M.Sc/ M Tech/ Ph.D or equivalent in Geo-informatics/ GIS/ RS/ Geomatics / or

adequate experienced candidates with experience in Image Processing and GPS navigation, DGPS/ Total Station survey etc will be preferred with any of the related Academic Background like IT/ CS/ Civil Engg/ Geography/ Earth Sciences etc.

(B) INDIAN PROJECT TECHNICAL MANPOWER FOR CGARD TECHNOLOGY CENTRE PMU AT CGARD, NIRD&PR, HYDERABAD, INDIA

1. Number of Positions : 03
   
   
2. Monthly Remuneration: Rs 30,000/
   
   
3. Project Period: Maximum up to 3 years. Renewed based on annual performance.
   
   
4. Place of Posting: CGARD, NIRD&PR, Hyderabad.
   
   

1) Project Scientist (GIS) -1 No.

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum M.Tech or equivalent in Geo-informatics/ GIS/ RS/ Geomatics having adequate technical experience in GIS will be preferred with any of the related Academic Background like IT/ CS/ Civil Engg/ Geography/ Earth Sciences etc

2) Project Scientist (Image Processing & GPS) -2 Nos.

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum M Tech or equivalent in Geo-informatics/ GIS/ RS/ Geomatics having adequate technical experience in Image Processing and GPS navigation, DGPS/ Total Station survey etc will be preferred with any of the related Academic Background like IT/ CS/ Civil Engg/ Geography/ Earth Sciences etc.

2. General Conditions:

i. The offered assignment is purely temporary and does not envisage any kind of regular appointment in NIRD&PR in future.

ii. In case of large number of applications, the Institute may shortlist the candidates as may be necessary.
