- A) Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)
Educational and Other Qualifications
Essential:
- i) Masters Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA (obtained by conversion to percentage in accordance with the method of conversion of corresponding University/institutions norms) in the following subjects:
OR
Two years integrated Post Graduate Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the following subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA (obtained by conversion to percentage in accordance with the method of conversion of corresponding University/Institutions norms).

- iii) Proficiency in teaching in English medium.
Desirable: Proficiency in teaching in Hindi medium.
Note: Candidates having Special B.Ed. are not eligible for the post of PGT.
- B) Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)
Essential:
- i) Three years Bachelors Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (obtained by conversion to percentage in accordance with the method of conversion of corresponding University/institutions norms) in the concerned subjects/combination of subjects and as well as in aggregate.
OR
Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (obtained by conversion to percentage in accordance with the method of conversion of corresponding University/institutions norms) in the concerned subjects/combination of subjects and as well as in aggregate.

METHOD OF SELECTION:
CANDIDATES WILL BE SELECTED ON THE BASIS OF A WRITTEN TEST, FOLLOWED BY AN INTERVIEW. THE CANDIDATES SECURING MINIMUM 50 % MARKS FOR GENERAL CATEGORY AND 45 % MARKS FOR RESERVED CATEGORY IN WRITTEN TEST ONLY WILL BE ELIGBLE FOR INTERVIEW.

Note:
- 1. All Degree/Diploma should be from a recognized University/Institution.
- 2. M.A Ed./M.Sc.Ed./B.Sc.Ed from Regional College of Education of NCERT with desired subjects are also eligible.
- 3. In the cases where the candidate has received Grades letter or grading points instead of marks, they should convert the CGPA/ grades obtained into equivalent marks and a copy of such authentic certificate issued by the concerned Board/ University explaining the method of conversion should be attached along with Bio-Data failing which the application will be summarily rejected. No correspondence will be entertained by AECS-1, Jaduguda in this regard.
- 4. English as a subject in class XII is mandatory for all posts.
- 5. The level of question papers for the written test may be up to the level of the minimum qualification required for the post.
- 6. The candidate should be competent enough to teach through English Medium.
- 7. For PGTs normally preference will be given to candidates with teaching qualifications (B.Ed.). However, if the performance of a candidate without a B.Ed. is found to be exceptionally good with good academic record, she/he may be considered for appointment.
- 8. Temporary sharing accommodation on campus may be considered as per UCIL norms.
- 9. Rakhamines on TATANAGAR - KHARAGPUR HOWRAH train route (between TATANAGAR AND GHATSILA) is the nearest railway station for Jaduguda (about 5 KM from UCIL Residential Colony).
- 10. Venue for written test and interview is ATOMIC ENERGY CENTRAL SCHOOL-1, UCIL COLONY, JADUGUDA MINES.
Interested candidates may report for registration on the scheduled dates one hour before the schedule of the written test. They should bring attested copies of the certificate/testimonials along with originals and a passport photograph for verification.
Note: Candidates appearing in written test and Interview will not be entitled to TA/DA.
