Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Limited (UGVCL), a subsidiary of GUVNL (erstwhile GEB), an ISO-9001:2008 Company and the recipient of National Gold Shield for its excellent performance in power distribution during 2010-11, having consumer-base of around 33 Lakhs, an annual turnover of Rs. 9300 Crores and manpower strength of more than 8600, invites for post of:

CHAIRPERSON of Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum (CGRF). (On 3 years Contract basis)

Qualification/ Experience:

Servant, not below the rank of Collector or a retired Senior Electrical Engineer, not below the rank of Chief Engineer, having experience of distribution of electricity. The candidate should have knowledge of Gujarati language.

  • Age: Below 65 years.

  • Nos of Posts: 01 (One)

  • Remuneration: The remuneration be 2500/-per sitting along with to and fro transportation facility. The Forum shall hold at least one sitting in a week on specific day in any district place of UGVCL.

  • Instructions:

ii. Having been convicted of an offence which, in the opinion of Licensee, involves moral turpitude;

iii. Having become physically or mentally incapable of acting as such member;

iv.
Having acquired such financial or other interest as is likely to affect prejudicially his/her functioning as a member;
v.
Having so abused his/her position as to render his/her continuance in office prejudicial to public interest; or

vi. Having been guilty of proved misbehavior.

  1. Incomplete application shall be rejected. The candidate is required to fulfill all educational and experience criteria, otherwise the application shall not be considered.

  2. Photocopies of all Educational, Cast, Age and Experience Certificates must be attached along with the application together with the list of such annexure.

  3. Passport sized photograph must be affixed on the application.

  4. Knowledge of Gujarati is essential.

  5. The last date for the submission of application is 06-01-2018. Applications received thereafter shall not be considered.

10.right to short-list and select any candidate as per the requirement of the company and to reject candidature in the event of detecting the candidates ineligibility at any stage.

11.Mere submission of application does not guarantee the adequacy of candidature for being considered
