Selection of Senior Resident at Govt. Medical College, Patiala and Amritsar.


Applications are invited from eligible doctors for the selection of Senior Resident in the various departments of the Government Medical College, Patiala/ Amritsar.


It is clarified that the selection shall be made on the basis of notifications issued by Department of Medical Education & Research vide No. 1/70/2008-2HB-Ill/8060 Dated 2.12.2013; No J /70/2008-21-I B-III/8331 Dated 11.12.2013 1/70/2008-2HB-III/1280 Dated
04.03.20 14, 1/70/2008-2HB-Ill/7355 Dated 28.1 1.2014, and l/70/2008-21-IB-III/7534 Dated
1 0.12.2014 and No. J /70/2008-2H B-III/477830/2-9 Dated 06.05.2015 and by the Department of Health and Family Welfare Memo No.27/125/08-5HBW3l52 dated 24-5-201 0 and No.27/ 125/08-SHBH/4995 dated 20-8-2010. Reservation will be followed as per Govt. of India Department of Disability Affaires Notification No. 16-15/2010-DDIII dated 29.07.2013.


The last date of submission of application in the office of Director Health Services, Punjab, Chandigarh for PCMS doctors, in the office of MD NRIIM for other contractual service doctors under NRHM and to Deputy Commissioners for doctors under 5 year contractual service with the State Government is 17-5-2017 (up to 5.00 Pm).


Vacancy position will be available on official website of the department. i.e., (www.punjabmedicaleducation.org). Incomplete applications in any respect will be rejected & responsibility will lie with the applicant. In case of reserve candidate, the candidate should submit an attested copy of relevant caste certificate while applying. In the absences of the Caste Certificate the benefit shall not be granted to the candidate.


The direct application of employed doctors of PCMS, NRHM, Rural Department & Panchyat Department, submitted in this office will not be entertained. Only those applications will be considered which are submitted lo the concerned heads and are routed through proper channel. Fresh candidates will directly apply to the Director Research and Medical Education, Punjab by 17-5-2017.
