Essential Qualification	10thpass and certificate course in Auxiliary Nurse midwife (ANM) in Government recognized institute/board.
Desirable qualification	Working experience in a health facility/field data collection Knowledge of computer applications Can read, write and speak Tamil and English Diploma in Auxiliary Nurse Midwife, Diploma in nursing can be treated as 2 years experience and considered B.Sc. degree (Nursing) shall be treated as 3 years experience and considered
Age	UR - 25 Years (No age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC Candidates) OBC 28 Years (including 3 Years age relaxation for OBC candidates)
Total Salary	Rs. 17,000/- per month
Nature of Duties	Involve in Field /Facility based data collection in shifts Patient recruitment enrolment and follow-up Travel to field for data collection Overall responsible for coordination of field- based activities Any other work assigned by the Director/PI/Co-PI/Superior officer
Duration	1 6 months (Renewable for the project duration subject to performance and project requirement)

Instructions to the applicant:

1. Interview will be held in ICMR-NIE, Chennai for the Post.

2. Age Relaxation is admissible in respect of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government of India Rules, in respect of the posts reserved for those categories.

3. Age concession to the extent of service rendered in ICMR projects will also be admissible for experience and skilled persons.

5. Clear proof of Qualifications, Experience, Caste / Community should be attached. Applications without these required attachments shall be rejected.

Only Non-Creamy Layer OBC certificates will be accepted and other certificates will not be accepted.

12. No- Objection Certificate from the current employer (for Govt./AB/PSU Servants only).

13. All posts are Contractual for the duration offered. The appointment may be renewed after every specific period of time subject to satisfactory performance and project requirement.

14. The incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointments under NIE/ICMR or continuation of his/her services in any other project.

15. TA/DA will not be paid by NIE for attending the written test/ interview.

16. The Institute reserves the right to fill up or not to fill the advertised posts.

Desirable	A Post Graduate Degree from recognized University with M.Sc Degree in Epidemiology or Public Health or Social Work. Experience in designing, conducting, analysis of data in Qualitative Studies, and usage of statistical packages Good health to undertake strenuous field work
Job Responsibilities	1. A good team player and a team coordinator 2. The job involves extensive travel and working with tribals living in mountains and forests for atleast 3 weeks per month 3. Collection of Qualitative data and analysing the data sets 4. Writing reports and research papers 5. Any other work assigned by the Director, NIE or Principal Investigator of the Project.

Essential Qualification	Intermediate or 12th pass from recognized board. A speed test of not less than 15,000 key depressions per hour through speed test on computer in English.
Age Limit	25 Years
Emoluments	Rs.17,000/- Per Month
Nature of Duties	1. Data Entry of the study tools and administrative work related to the project. 2. Participate in Field Research activities. 3. Any other Duty Assigned by the Director, Nodal Officer & Consultant at MRHRU.
Note	Preference will be given to (i) Local candidates in Tirunelveli District. (ii) Candidates who are having Typing skills in English and Tamil.
Duration	6 Months(Renewable for the project duration subject to performance and project requirement)
