AIIMS, Jodhpur invites applications from Indian Citizens as per the Govt. of India's Residency Scheme, for the following post of Senior Residents for a period of 11 months or upto next regular Interview, whichever is earlier. NOTE:

1. The above vacancies are provisional and subject to variation. The Director, AIIMS, Jodhpur reserves the right to vary the vacancies including reserved vacancies as per the Govt. of India rules/circulars and requirements.

3. 3% vacancies are reserved for physically handicapped (PH) candidates.
   
   
4. Candidates may kindly take note: Candidates having MD/DNB in Paediatrics or Medicine can also apply for the post of Senior Residents in the Department of Endocrinology & Metabolism, Neurology and Nephrology.
   
   

Candidates having MS/DNB in General Surgery can also apply for the post of Senior Residents in the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery, Surgical Gastroenterology, Paediatric Surgery, Neurosurgery and Urology.

2. UPPER AGE LIMIT AS ON (19/09/2017):

a) For eligibility to apply for these posts upper age limit as on 19/09/2017 will be 33 years. This is relaxable for SC/ST candidate for a maximum period of five years. In the case of OBC candidates it is relaxable upto a maximum period of three years. In the case of Orthopaedics Physically Handicapped (OPH) candidates, this is relaxable upto maximum period of 10 years for General Category, 13 years for OBC category and 15 years for SC/ST category candidates.

b) For those applying for these posts after completing DM/M.Ch Courses, the upper age limit as on 19/09/2017 will be 35 years. The age limit is further relaxable for SC/ST candidates, OBC candidates & OPH candidates as above.

c) The candidates who are in service in any Government Institutions are required to submit No Objection Certificate from the employer at the time of Interview. The candidates will not be permitted for Interview if they fail to produce no objection certificate on the day of interview during scrutiny of documents.

APPLICATION FEE:

i) For OPH Candidate: NIL ii) General/OBC category: 1,000/-. iii) SC/ST category: 800/-.

PAY SCALE

Senior Resident: 15,600-39,100+6,600 (Grade Pay) + NPA (Non Practicing Allowance) plus other usual allowance. NPA is not applicable to non-medical candidates.

RESERVATION FOR SC/ST/OBC/OPH SHALL BE APPLICABLE AS PER GOVT. OF INDIA POLICY.

Reservation for Orthopaedics Physically Handicapped Candidates is 3% which will be provided on horizontal basis to OPH candidate in their respective categories.

Criteria for Orthopaedics Physical Handicapped:

The disability certificate should be issued by a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board of the State or Central Govt. Hospitals / Institutions and countersigned by Medical Superintendent / CMO / Head of Hospital / Institution.

Candidate applying in OBC/SC/ST Category, must possess the caste certificate issued by competent authority, valid for admission/Job in Central Govt. Institutions issued before the date of interview, failing which he/she shall not be allowed to appear in interview for the same category. However, he/she can be treated as UR Candidate.

OBC certificate must have been issued in last one year.

In case of OBC candidate, He/She should belong to non-creamy layer of Central List of OBC.

In case candidate fails to produce valid OBC certificate for admission / Job in Central Government Institution or issued within one year at the time of interview / document verification his candidature will stand cancelled.

1. DATE AND VENUE: Interview will be conducted on 18^th September, 2017 (Monday) and 19^th September, 2017 (Tuesday) at 10:00am at Medical College of AIIMS, Jodhpur (Rajasthan).
   
   
2. SELECTION PROCEDURE: The selection will be on the basis of the interview. The list of selected candidates will be uploaded on website. Candidates are advised to check the Institute website regularly for information.

k) No Objection Certificate in case of Govt. / Semi. Govt., PSU Employee.
