NIFTEM is an autonomous research-cum-educational institute under the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India. The institute offers B.Tech, M.Tech and PhD Programmes and undertakes short term training and extension. The institute also conducts research for identifying technologies for processing, process/ product development and safety/quality. Location : National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship & Management (NIFTEM), Kundli -131028, District- Sonepat (Haryana) iii. Scale of Pay: Rs.75,000/-(Fixed)+ Rs.5000/-special allowance plus other allowances as per Central Government rates. (Pre-revised) iv. Age: Not exceeding 65 years as on the last date prescribed. The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for receipt of application. v. The position will be filled up on tenurial basis for period of 5 yrs. or upto superannuation at the age of 70 yrs, whichever is earlier. vi. Category- unreserved 2. Eligibility Criteria for the Candidates: Persons of the highest level of competence, integrity, morals and institutional commitment shall be appointed as Vice-Chancellors. The Vice-Chancellor to be appointed shall be a distinguished academician, with a minimum of ten years of experience as Professor in a University system or ten years of experience in an equivalent position in a reputed research and/ or academic administrative organization. 3. Experience Certificates: Candidates should enclose service certificates in support of their claim of possessing experience. These certificates should be obtained from the concerned employer and should specify job description of the candidates. 4. Function of Vice Chancellor : The Vice Chancellor shall be the Principal executive officer of the Institution Deemed to be University and shall exercise general supervision and control over the affairs of the Institution Deemed to be University and shall be mainly responsible for implementation of the decisions of all the authorities of the Institution Deemed to be University. |
