criteria / experience

• Retired IPS officers and the IP officers on the verge of retirement in Government of rndia or tate Governments may apply.

• The serving applicants will be required to quit their current emplo ment before taking up the assignment at UIDAI.

• Should have been minimum in the Pay Matrix level 15/16 as per

7th CPC or HAG/HAG+ as per 6th CPC

Two year extendable upto three years or upto the age of 65 years whichever is earlier.

Bachelor or Master's Degree in Engineering or Science

Knowledge

skills and competencies

• Skills to co-ordinate ith law enforcement agencies State Govts and other concerned agencies with regard to investigation and security

• Exposure / knowledge with regard to cyber security.

• Should have knowledge with regard to information pnvacy , regulatory compliance, information security infrastructure IT investigation and information risk management.

• Should have knowledge of intelligence netvvork management with regard to ecurity and investigation.

• Security of industrial installation.

• Experience of working with agencies like CBI, ED, NIA NATGRID

Remunerations

• (Last Pay Drawn + Dearness Allowance) minus (Pension + Dearness Relief) Max.Rs. I IO 000 p.m. at the time of engagement which will be subject to revision with the increase in Dearness Allowance/Dearness Relief.

• HRA: As applicable to Government officers of the scale he/she was last draw ing, shall be payable, which will be restricted to Rs. 24,000/- p.m.

• Vehicle shall be provided for official purpo es

• The Adviser would be eligible for per anal staff (Secretarial Assistant/ Support Staff), laptop, internet and telephone connection for official use vehicle on the basis of functional requirement and reimbursement towards mobile and internet bills

upto monthly ceiling of Rs. 3000/-.

i)

Leave

Ad i er (Security & Investigation) shall be eligible for eight days

leave in a calendar year on pro-rata basis. The Adviser shall not draw any remuneration in case of hi /her absence beyond eight day s in a year calculated on a pro-rata ba i . Also un-availed leave in a calendar

year cannot be carried forward to n xt calendar year.

ii)

TA/DA

o TA/DA shall be admissible for joining the a signment or on its completion. However, the Adviser shall be allowed Hotel Accommodation TA/DA for hi /her travel within the countr in connection with the official work at the rate admissible to Joint

Secretary level or equivalent in Government oflndia.

iii)

Other term and condition

• The engagement ha l l be of a temporary nature and the UIDAl can cancel the engagement at any time without providing any reason. However in normal course the engagement can be terminated by eith r parties i.e. the UIDAl or the Adviser by giving one month s notice.

• The Adviser sha l l not be permitted to take up any other assignment during the period of engagement with VIDA l.

• The Advi er would be expected to follow all rules and regulat ions of the Government of India as applicable to Group 'A officers which are in force. He/she will display utmost honesty, secrecy of office and sincerity while discharging his/her duties. In case the services of the Con ultant are not found satisfactory or found in conflict with the intere t of Government in general and the UIDAI in particular, h is/her services will be liable to discontinuation forthwith without assigning any reason.
