Advertisement for the engagement of ITI Apprentices (Trade Apprentices) for ONE/TWO Years in BHEL, EDN, Bangalore

BHEL- Electronics Division, Bangalore, one of the Manufacturing Units of BHEL, a Maharatna Company proposes to engage 386 Nos. ITI Apprentices (Trade Apprentice) as per Apprentices Act, 1961. Mode of application is online through web- portal www.apprenticeship.gov.in. Accordingly, the applicants have to register online on DGT website www.apprenticeship.gov.in(screenshot of the website and link is attached for easy references). The details are as follows:-

2. Procedure to apply:-

   1. Candidate should have a valid e-mail id. If not, please create an e-mail id before registration.

   2. Candidates should enter a valid e-mail id and contact number in the web portal.

   3. Visit official website www.apprenticeship.gov.in

   4. Click on Apprentice Registration under Apprentice Tab, after submitting online application candidate will receive a mail automatically generated in which registration no. is mentioned.

   5. After registration online, apply for Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (E03162900312)/ Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Electronics Systems Division (E05162900450) against the eligible trade on the online portal (In state column, select Karnataka and in District column select Bangalore. Step by Step Process is enclosed as Annexure 1.

   6. After applying online for Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (E03162900312)/ Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Electronics Systems Division (E05162900450) as above, the applicant has to fill the enclosed form given below (Annexure II)along with self-attested copy of Class X/SSLC Certificate, ITI Marks Sheet (All years/semesters), ITI Certificate (Provisional/Original), Caste Certificate (if applicable), Disability certificate (if applicable) and super scribe the envelope as Application for the engagement of ITI Apprentices (Trade Apprentices). and send through post/courier to DGM (HR-Administration), Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Electronics Division, Mysore Road, Bangalore- 560 026 so as to reach us on or before 15THNOVEMBER, 2016.

   7. Last date of Online Application: - 12TH NOVEMBER, 2016.

3. IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:

• Candidates may note that, the engagement will be done through web portal www.apprenticeship.gov.in. Candidates have to register themselves at www.apprenticeship.gov.in. Candidates have to enter their NAME as in SSLC/Class X Certificate

• If selected as Trade Apprentice (ITI Apprentice) completion of training will be subject to registration by RDAT/DGT. If due to any reason RDAT, Hyderabad/DGT refuses registration, the training will be terminated and he/she will not be issued with the relevant certificate.

• Duration of training shall be as follows:- NCVT CANDIDATES 1 (ONE) Year

  SCVT CANDIDATES 2 (TWO) Years

• Engaging suitable candidates as ITI Apprentices (Trade Apprentices) or the completion of training at BHEL shall not entitle such candidates/trainees any right to claim any type of employment in BHEL.

• Candidates who have undergone Trade Apprenticeship once shall not be eligible to apply.

• Preference will be given to candidates having knowledge of Kannada.

• Reservation for candidates belonging to OBC, SC/ST and Person with Disability category as per extant Act/Government Rules/Regulations.

• Age limit: Maximum Age limit:- 27 Years (GENERAL) (As on 01.10.2016) 30 Years (OBC)

  32 Years (SC/ST)

  10 years relaxation for Person with Disability candidates.

  Person with disability means a person suffering from not less than forty per cent of any disability (Low Vision/ Loco motor disability / Hearing Impairment) as certified by a Medical authority asper The Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995.

• Stipend:As per Apprentices Act/Government Guidelines.

• Employee Wards: -An additional 05 years relaxation in age shall be given to wards of BHEL Employees. 25% of training slots will be reserved for wards of BHEL Employees.

• Standard of Fitness: -Candidates shall have the Standard of Fitness as prescribed as per the Apprentices Act, 1961 and its Rules.

• Mode and Criteria for Engagement of Apprentices: Applications details will be collected from the web portal www.apprenticeship.gov.intill 12th November, 2016. The process of selection for engagement of apprentices is based on merit taking into consideration the marks scored in ITI.

  No TA/DA will be given to the candidates who are called for the selection process.

• After applying online for Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited/ Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Electronics Systems Division as above, the applicant has to fill the enclosed Application Form given below (Annexure II) along with Self- attested copy of the following documents

  • Class X/SSLC Certificate for Proof of Date of Birth

  • ITI Marks Sheet (All Years/Semester)

  • ITI Certificate (Provisional/Original)

  • Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC*(Non Creamy layer)) issued by Competent Authority (If applicable).

    *OBC Format enclosed.

  • Self-undertaking by the OBC Candidate belonging to Non-creamy layer. Format enclosed.

  • Disability Certificate from Competent Authority (If applicable)

The Application Form duly signed along with the self-attested copy of the documents mentioned above shall be sent to the address mentioned below so as to reach us on or before 15th November, 2016 by post/courier. Any other correspondence either in soft or hard form will not be entertained.

• The envelope containing the application form should be super scribed with Application for the engagement of ITI Apprentices (Trade Apprentices).

• BHEL is not responsible for any postal/courier loss or delay in receipt of applications.

• If at any stage of training, it is found that the candidate has furnished false/incorrect information or concealed any information, his/her Training shall be cancelled and suitable action will be taken as per extant rules.

• Applications which are incomplete in any detail, not legible or without all the required enclosure/self-attested documents or received after last date for receipt of the applications will be rejected and no correspondence on this will be entertained. Applications received after last date shall be rejected.

• Interested and eligible Candidates are advised to go through detailed instructions regarding submission of application and engagement process which is available with BHEL website: www.bheledn.com.

• BHEL shall also not be responsible for any application being rejected or candidates not shortlisted due to improper attachments/incorrect data etc. while registering in the web portalwww.apprenticeship.gov.in

• BHEL reserves the right to Revise/ Reschedule/ Cancel/ Suspend the engagement process, if the need so arises, without assigning any further notice or reason therefore. The decision of the management shall be final and no appeal shall be entertained.

• Any legal proceedings in respect of any matter of claim or dispute arising out of this advertisement and / or an application in response thereto can be instituted only in Bangalore and the Courts/Tribunals/Forums (Jurisdiction Courts) at Bangalore shall have sole and exclusive jurisdiction.

• Any corrigenda/amendments/updates will be hosted on our website: www.bheledn.com only.

ENGAGING SUITABLE CANDIDATES AS TRADE APPRENTICE (ITI) OR THE COMPLETION OF TRAINING AT BHEL SHALL NOT ENTITLE SUCH CANDIDATES/TRAINEES ANY RIGHT TO CLAIM ANY TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT IN BHEL.

Annexure I

Sub: Step by step process for submitting application for Trade Apprenticeship in web portalwww.apprenticeship.gov.in .

The following step-by-step procedure is given for filling information in on-line portal, for the purpose of clarity. Please also refer screenshots from the website given in this document.

STEP-1: For Registration

1. Please go through the screen shot of official Apprenticeship Training Portal of Government of India at websitewww.apprenticeship.gov.in (refer screen shot 1).

2. Log in to www.apprenticeship.gov.in to go to the site

3. In the said site, find Apprentice Registration and click the same for registration.

4. Complete the registration by furnishing relevant details and uploading scanned copy of certificates required at appropriate places in the screen and click submit button (refer screen shot 2).

5. On submission, you will get the registration number which will also be received in your e-mail id. Please also note down your registration number for future correspondence.

STEP -2: For Applying for Apprenticeship

1. Again log in to websitewww.apprenticeship.gov.in or click Home in the same web site to go the home page for applying for apprenticeship (refer screen shot 3).

2. Find Establishment search or Apply for Apprenticeship Training and click (refer screen shot 3).

3. You will be directed to Establishment search (refer screen shot 4).

4. In state column, select Karnataka and in District column, Bangalore, click search (refer screen shot 4).

5. Locate Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (E03162900312)/ Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Electronics Systems Division (E05162900450) and select the same by clicking (refer screen shot 5).

6. You will be directed to establishment details - Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited (E03162900312)/ Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Electronics Systems Division (E05162900450).

7. In the Establishment Trade Details, select the relevant trade application to the candidate and click on apply (refer screen shot 6).

8. You will be directed to Apply for Apprenticeship Training page (refer screen shot 7).

9. Fill in the relevant details asked for and click on Apply (refer screen shot 7). Last date for applying: 12th November, 2016

STEP-3: For sending your Application to BHEL through Post/Courier.

Take a print out of format given as Annexure II. Fill in the same with appropriate details and send by post/courier along with self-attested copy of Class X/SSLC Certificate, ITI Marks Sheet (All years/semesters), ITI Certificate (Provisional/Original), Caste Certificate (if applicable), Disability certificate (if applicable) to DGM (HR-Administration), Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited Electronics Division, Mysore Road, Bangalore 560 026, duly super scribing on the envelop Application for the engagement of ITI Apprentices (Trade Apprentices). The filled in format along with the self-attested copy of documents should reach us through post/courier on or before 15th November, 2016.
