Chief Executive Officer: IIFCL Projects Limited (IPL)

India Infrastructure Finance Company Limited (IIFCL), a Government of India Undertaking, intends to engage a dynamic and experienced leader as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for its wholly owned subsidiary IIFCL Projects Limited (IPL) on contract basis for a term of two years and further extendable by one or more year, on sole discretion of the company.

IPL is a dedicated Project Advisory and Development Company involved in the areas of project appraisal, financial feasibility, syndication, transaction advisory and infrastructure consultancy services. The company caters to the demand for advisory services to projects across the spectrum of infrastructure sectors including roads, highways, ports, airports, power including renewable, tourism, urban infrastructure like water supply & sewerage projects, solid waste management etc.

1. Desired profile of the CEO, IPL

Qualification	Graduate degree in Engineering and/or Post Graduate / MBA from a reputed institution.
Essential Experience	At least 20 years of experience in Project Development/ Project Financing/Structuring / Advisory. Should have experience in structuring, presenting, and syndicating financing packages. Should have led teams in Advisory/Project financing and Syndication. Experience in dealing with Government Bodies/International Agencies will be desirable.
Age	The applicant should not have attained the age of 55 as on December 31, 2017.
Tenure	CEO IPL shall initially hold office for a period of two years from the date of joining office or till he/she attains the age of 60 years, whichever is earlier. Further extension by one or more year, on sole discretion of the company may be given within the age limit of 60 years.
Remuneration	Compensation will not be a limiting factor for the right candidate and will be discussed with the candidates and decided based on the merit of the candidate and as per IIFCL rules.

2. Key Objective and Responsibilities:

The position will be at the level of Chief Executive Officer. The Mandate of the role will be to:

(a) As a Business Head, CEO is to actively engage with Project Developers, Banks, NBFCs, Financial Institutions, Central & State Ministries and its bodies, Development Authorities, Municipal Corporations, Smart Cities, Multilateral/Bilateral Institutions etc. to generate business and provide solutions on Project Structuring, Financial Feasibility, Transaction Advisory, and Syndication etc.

(b) CEO should be a visionary to develop a high quality business strategy to meet the short term and long term objectives of the company. He/She should ensure effective implementation of business strategy and plan(s) to achieve the growth and profitability of the company to the satisfaction of the stakeholder(s).

(c) Lead and motivate subordinates to advance employee engagement to develop a high performing managerial team.

(d) Engage with Industry Associations, Chambers, Think-tanks, Niti-Aayog, Committees, Central and State Ministries etc. and contribute towards the development of Infrastructure Sector. Maintain a deep knowledge of the markets and industry of the company.

(e) Oversee all the functions of company including all regulatory and statutory compliances. Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements.

3. Other Terms & Conditions :-

(a) The selected candidate is supposed to work in the best interest of the company.

(b) The selected candidate is not allowed to take up any permanent / part-time employment / directorship etc. during the tenure of this assignment, without prior permission of IIFCL.

(c) The selected candidate has no right to claim employment as regular employee in IPL. Selection in IPL does not offer any right of employment with IIFCL or any of its group companies.

(d) Internal candidates from IIFCL or its subsidiaries are also eligible to apply against this advertisement. Such candidates may choose to resign and join on contract or may opt to join on deputation basis as per extant terms & conditions of their principal employment.

5 General conditions:-
