Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for various posts on purely temporary and contractual basis in the project on Niche Area of Excellence for Mango entitled Crop regulation for increasing productivity of Alphonso Mango under climatic conditions in Konkan region which is being implemented in the Dr. B.S. Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli. Candidates are hereby informed to submit the application on or before 26/03/2018 in the office of Principal Investigator, Niche Area of Excellence for Mango, Department of Horticulture, Dr. B. S. Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli. However, the interview will be conducted in the office of Centre of Excellence for mango, Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli. The date of interview will be communicated after scrutiny.

Desirable: - 1.Preference will be given to the candidate having Ph.D degree (Agriculture in the subject of Horticulture / Plant Physiology / Genetics and plant breeding/ Biochemistry /Agri. Biotechnology/ Soil Science and Agril. Chemistry/ Entomology).

2.Experience especially conducting scientific experiments, use of various scientific instruments, colletion and analysis of data and preparation of scientific reports will be prefered.

Desirable:- 1. Preference will be given to the candidate having M.Sc. (Hort/Agri) Degree in field of Horticulture, Plant physiology, Genetics and plant breeding, Biotechnology, Entomology and Soil Science.

2. Experience in handling various scientific instruments related to chemical analysis, recording various horticultural, physiological and biochemical observations as well as various entomological observations.

Desirable:- Preference will be given having minimum 2 years work experience in typing scientific documents, maintaining various registers related to audit and account.

Note:- Candidates working in various schemes/projects should submit the NOC from the concern Incharge along with application form. If candidates are not produceing No Objection Certificate (NOC), the application form will be rejected.

Other conditions:

1. Age limit Not more than 38 years (Relaxation as per rule for SC/NT and other categories).
2. Candidates should apply giving full details in the prescribed Proforma enclosed. The application should be addressed to the Principal Investigator, Niche Area of Excellence for Mango.
3. The envelope should be superscribed as Application for the post ___________ ________________________ station/place ______________________ under the scheme ________________________________
4. The eligible candidates will be interviewed by selection committee.
5. All certificates will have to be produced in original at the time of interview.
6. No TA/DA shall be paid to the candidates appearing for interview.
7. The selected candidates will be required to give an undertaking on stamp paper worth Rs. 100/- that he/she will not leave job during the appointment period and shall complete the assignment and he/she will not claim for appointment on regular basis.
8. The candidates will be appointed for 11 months period (or less than that as per project duration).
9. Candidate should not that he should submit application to office of undersigned (Principal Investigator). However, interview will be conducted in the office of Centre of Excellence for mango, Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli. No separate call letters will be issued for attending interviews.
10. The candidate will have no any claim for his/her continuation of service as well as claim for appointment on regular establishment in the services of Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli.
11. The candidate will have to give one month advance notice if he/she desire to leave the job failing which, he/she have to surrender one month salary.
12. The University reserves the right to reject one or all the applications at its description without any reasons thereof.
13. Selected candidates will be placed at various locations under University jurisdiction where scheme in question is in operation.
14. The appointment as well as any claims for payment will be co-terminus with operation of scheme.
15. As these schemes are research oriented, the selected candidates would render their services with due responsibility and give the result of the scheme as well as all other information as per the requirement of scheme to concerned agency/office and as per directives from the University.
16. The consolidated pay given in this advertisement may be changed as per decision of university or revised as per guidelines in future.
17. The candidate has to submit no objection certificate with an application from present employer in case he/she is already in service.
18. Misconduct or misbehavior in any manner may result into cancellation of candidature.
19. This university will not be responsible for any postal delay.
20. Canvassing in any form will render the candidate disqualified for the post.
21. Separate application should be made for each post.
22. Preference will be given to candidates who are having works experience under University Project.
