Applications are invited for a post of Junior Research Fellow in a DST-SERB sponsored project entitled, Formal Verification of Optimizing Transformations of Programs in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT Guwahati.

The appointment will be made for a period of 11 months.

Qualification and Experience: B.E. / B.Tech in CSE with a valid GATE score in CS or M.Tech / M.E. in any CSE/ECE specialization. Candidate should be proficient in C/C++ programming and should have a sound knowledge in Data Structure, Algorithm and Formal Automata Theory.

Scale of Pay: 25,000/- p.m (+) HRA and medical allowance as per institute norms

How to apply & Selection process: Interested eligible candidates are requested to send their CV to the principal investigator via email on or before 11/11/2017 (Saturday). They are also requested to appear for a written test and an interview with their CV and original certificates (showing educational qualification and experience) at Seminar room, CSE Department, IIT Guwahati on 13.11.2017 (Monday) at 9.00 am. The test will be for one hour covering the fundamentals of digital logic, data structure, algorithm, discrete structure, formal language and automata and computer architecture followed by an interview for shortlisted candidates.
